Curtly Ambrose and Courtney Walsh Demolished Indian Batting at Sharjah in 1989

 

In the Ist Match of Champions Trophy between West Indies vs India at Sharjah on Oct 13, 1989. Courtney Walsh and Curtly Ambrose demolished the Indian batting lineup, sharing 6 wickets between them. On a slow surface, Courtney Walsh took 4 for 25 in 10 overs, while Ambrose took 2 for 22 in 9 overs.India won the toss and elected to bat first but bowled out for a mere 169 runs.
